THE THIRD SHORT TERM JOINT STAFF TRAINING EVENT took place in Velenje, Slovenia from 19th to 24th of August 2019

Within the framework of the project MY VIRTUAL TOWN, financed by the Erasmus+ program,

teachers from 3 European schools /Municipal High School “Ljupco Santov”- Kochani, High School of Economics and Management – Pazardzhik, School Centre Velenje/ met in order to exchange ideas and share experience. This was the third short term joint-staff training event, following the ones in Kochani and Pazardzhik. Teachers from the 3 schools were trained on the following topics:

  • Urban environment issues
  • Energy efficiency measures and utilization of local RES
  • ICT based education tools with special focus on OER web 2.0 tools

The event aimed at outlining guidelines for teachers and to describe and illustrate main issues in the topics above.

Teachers and experts had to work also on the development of guidelines for secondary schools for 45-minute classes in addressing of above mentioned topics in school subjects.

In parallel with teachers’ trainings, representatives of Association CSEG, Municipality of Pazardzhik, KSSENA, LUV, KJP Vodovod, MAGA, and representatives from the management board from the primary schools worked on the document for strategic partnership for which the project partners will develop action plan with aim for their future collaboration in the improvement of the education activities in their municipalities.
