Fourth transnational project partners meeting
On the romantic date of 14 Feb.2020, all project partners gathered together again for the Fourth transnational project partners meeting held in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. The event was hosted my Pazardzhik Municipality and managed with the help of association CSEG.
The event was opened by Mrs. Tabakova, Director in Educational Department of Pazardzhik Municipality, who kindly greeted the participants and wished them a fruitful meeting and a nice celebration afterwards. After the short introduction, there was a description of tasks and aims of the meeting.
Firstly, project partners focused on the evaluation of students’ achievements and the necessary feedback on the main learning activities. Teachers and experts split into 3 groups and discussed the initial work of students and their presentations on the first two Project Themes (Local Governance and Communal Services), giving very useful recommendations for improvement and possible upgrades, pointing out some valuable advices and possible “stumbling stones” and finally summed up the most important requirements for the future my-virtual-town presentation.
Afterwards, Mr. Miran Papež, from School Centre Velenje, spoke about the forthcoming short-term exchange of groups of pupils and joint staff training event that should take place in May, 2020. He presented the location where partners and students should be accommodated and clarified some logistic details about booking and transport.
There was also a Steering Committee meeting, where partners discussed the current state of the two intellectual outputs – a strategy for long term cooperation and a handbook for secondary school teachers. Association CSEG presented the draft version of both documents and agreed on forthcoming translations and small amendments. Communication and dissemination activities of project partnership were also discussed.
The meeting finished with a preparation of the second Interim report as well as with conclusions and determination of further steps and tasks.
